Tanya, the owner and founder of Elevated, began her journey of vegan baking when her sister, Karina, at the age of 22 began to develop a dairy allergy. For years, Karina searched for various alternatives to replace her previous love of dairy, but to no avail. That was when Tanya got the idea to create something revolutionary and surprise her sister with her favorite dessert: cheesecake – but dairy-free!

The moment Karina took her first bite, the concept of Elevated was born. Not only did her face brighten after her first taste of cheesecake in years, a few tears fell as she realized she could have multiple pieces without feeling pain. From this point on, Tanya made it her mission to redefine dessert as something “created with good intentions, filled with high-quality whole ingredients, while still being absolutely delicious.”
